Book Review: Good Leaders ask Great Questions
I’m just finishing Good Leaders ask Great Questions by John Maxwell. John is, I think, my all-time favorite author. It helps that I’m really passionate about becoming a better leader and learning about servant leadership.
In this book, John surveyed many of his top leaders around the world and asked them to write in leadership questions they had. After receiving thousands of responses, he and his team gruoped them and then answered the 10 most common from each category.
The ten categories deal with everything from self leadership, to leading others, working under poor leadership or in bad situations, and even how to develop other leaders. Every single page has something noteworthy on it. I think, once I’ve finished reading it, it will become a very valuable reference book to regularly refresh my leadership skills on. I highly recommend the book for anyone who has tough questions about leadership, dealing with tough boss/leader situations, or even company transitions.
