The National Institute of Corrections is a Federal Corrections Agency dedicated to thought leadership and information dissemination on the federal side of the United States Corrections Industry. The Information Center contractors provide digital presence expertise to support NIC’s mission and customers. In 2017, we relaunched the NICIC website from an old ASP.net dinosaur to a Drupal 7 website. In 2022, I rebuilt the website in Drupal 10 and launched it again. Now, in 2025, I’m leading the web development team as we relaunch the design of the website again and prepare for Drupal 11.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

They not only needed to transition over 1000 hand-coded HMTL web pages, but also needed to organize and update their library of 5,000+ PDFs. I led a team of 5 semi-web savvy coworkers in a massive project, transitioning, OCRing, and renaming documents to include keywords to be SEO ready.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n

Today, the website is beautiful, users can find all the information they want in an easy to use, attractive interface, and the website is ready to be found with search engines.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
